your WASHINGTON Elopement or Micro-wedding experience

Two brides walking hand in had through flowers on a sunny day in Washington

Are You This Couple?

While this is a broad characterization, the couples I resonate with the most typically include:

- Are a good mix of enjoying the outdoors but also could be a homebody (hello Washington winter hiberation!)
- Laid back, go with the flow, maybe even introverted (like myself)
- Have a dog...or a few
- Values experiences over things
- Believes love is love
-Don't enjoy being the center or attention
-Prefers camping in a state park vs backpacking into the wilderness

When I am not busy with my kids, running a household while my husband is deployed, or spending time doing my new mid-life crisis hobby (aka mountain biking), you can find me researching elopement locations in Washington and documenting couples in love while in nature. I love helping my couples find a location that works best for them based on their needs. Not only that, but I help create timelines for my couples. How The Process Works

1- Inquire + Schedule a Call

The biggest step for your elopement or wedding isn’t taken in hiking boots, but by hitting that contact button. You’ve done your research and want a romantic, light, airy feel mixed with a day full of adventure (or at least some nature aspects). Click here to fill out the contact form.

We will schedule a call to get to know one another and ask questions. It is crucial to make sure we’re a good fit. On this call is also we will also go over how it's like working with me and how to book.

2- Adventure Planning Calls + Have The Best Day

Next, we'll have an adventure planning Zoom call to plan your best elopement or intimate wedding. We'll cover everything from trail research and location scouting to permits and logistics. If you’re having a traditional wedding at a venue, these calls will focus more on timeline logistics. We may have 1-3 calls depending on the complexity of your day. Once we have created your timeline based off what is most important to you, now you get to have your best day ever. Free from all the stress of not knowing how your day will go, you will finally get to say "I do" in your dream Washington location whether that's on top of a mountain, by an alpine lake, a local waterfall, on your family's property, or a quintessential PNW venue.

3- Download Your Images + Enjoy Your Album

Relive your day by downloading your images from your online gallery. Feel free to share your gallery with your friends and family so that they can download as well. Products such as prints, canvases, and cards/announcements are readily available to purchase at your fingertips. We will then hold a video album reveal where you will see your album design for the first time and make any changes (like cover options, font, and how many pages you ultimately want).

Album Included in Every Package!

Yes, every couple walks away with something tangible

In a world full of forgotten camera rolls and lost files, there’s just something special about holding your story in your hands. Your album is more than just photos, it's the real, tangible feeling of your day. The soft texture of the pages, the way the colors come to life without a screen... it brings everything back in a way nothing else can. That’s why every couple I work with walks away with a physical album. It’s a part of the experience I never skip. I will personally design the pages for you (no more, "I will do it later" that turns into years). You will then get to choose your cover style and color and then relive your day for years to come!

The Adventurer

Recommended for 20-50 guests

For couples who don’t want to choose between intimacy and celebration...this experience is designed to hold space for both.

Maybe your first day is slow and meaningful, shared with your closest people. The next is just the two of you, chasing light, exploring somewhere beautiful, and soaking in the fact that you just got married. This is for couples who want to be fully present in every version of their story, without feeling rushed or confined to a single timeline.

Your coverage is intentionally flexible across two consecutive days (or can be split between sunrise and sunset with a break in the middle for the best light), giving you the freedom to design an experience that feels true to you, whether that’s a micro wedding one day, a private adventure the next, a blend of both, or simply chasing sunrise and sunset.

Alongside your experience, you’ll receive up to 12 hours of photography coverage split between 2 consecutive days (or split between sunrise and sunset on one day), your choice of a local engagement session or a $200 print credit, and a handcrafted 12x12 premium album (42 pages) to hold your story in a tangible way.

It’s especially well suited for couples planning a more immersive day...think mountain trails, 2–5 mile hikes, or weaving together multiple places and experiences into something that feels entirely your own.

FAQ

How do we make it official?

First we will connect via a quick phone call to get to know each other. If we get good vibes and are a match, I require a signed contract and a $800 non-refundable retainer to book.

Do you limit how many guests we can have?

I defer to local guidelines when it comes to guest counts. Having fewer than 8-10 (and that includes all vendors like myself as well as you as the couple in that total) is ideal for allowing us the most flexibility but otherwise I allow up to 50 guests for micro-weddings occurring at a venue of some sort.

Do you take payment plans?

Yes I do! After the $800 non-refundable retainer is applied to the balance, you can decide to make the final payment in 2, 4, or 6 equal payments that will be paid the months leading up to the elopement/wedding date.

What is your turn around time?

My turnaround time is at 8 weeks but because elopements can often have little to no guests, I deliver 20-40 sneak peek images within 1 week so you have something to share immedialty.

Do you only shoot in Washington?

Yes I only shoot in Washington State. Washington has so many diverse locations and scenery that could fit any vibe you are going for. It’s an amazing state!

How far in advance do you book?

I only take 12 elopement's/micro weddings per year so sooner the better. Most couples book 6-9 months in advance but I book early as 12 months in advance. The biggest timing factor is if you want to elope somewhere that requires a permit and allotting time to secure one which can take several months.

How many miles can we hike on our day?

I cater to the "semi-adventurous". Most of my couples hike between 0 and 3 miles. For both adventure sessions and hiking elopements, I personally have a max of 6 moderate miles (round trip) that I am willing to do. Anything more than that or backpacking elopements, I would have to recommend you to some photographers that cater to more adventurous couples.

Can we bring our dog?

Short answer is yes! Long answer is that it depends on where. Most of the National Parks in Washington do not allow dogs (though there could also be a few select areas depending on the park) so we would have to look for trails that can not only accomodate your group size but that also allow dogs.
