Harstine Island Elopement at Family Cabin

What better way to elope than to get married at your family's cabin alongside your two pups and family on a rainy Washington day! The original plan was to get married by the water but the PNW had other plans that day full of high winds and rain, and with some elderly family joining them, felt it was too cold. B + C opted to have their ceremony inside their family's cabin. But just 30 min before the ceremony, and a break in the rain, I managed to convince B + C's family to decorate the wood shed directly outside the cabin (for the woodsy romantic feel) and it couldn't have turned out better! They got their wish to elope in nature! After their beautiful ceremony by the wood shed, we took some time taking photos with their family and then couples photos, of course incorporating umbrellas when needed. Afterwards, they had a catered dinner by Ambrosia Catering Company. It was delicious!

hARSTINE iSLAND AND Jarrell Cove State Parks

While B + C eloped in the Harstine Island gated community, complete with it's own nature trails and beaches, there are a couple nearby State Parks that could easily host your elopement. A Hartine Island state Park elopement or a Jarrell Cove State Park elopement both can easily accommodate a great wedding day. Both have their own beaches, nature trails, and campgrounds. Perfect for nature lovers and those who may want a camping elopement.
