Haley and Joe got married November 2022, but I wasn't their photographer. See, Haley and Joesph were married at a resort and the venue they were married at supplied the photographer for their day. Haley confided in me that they ended up with 2 images that they thought were "ok" with but none they loved. So many of the images were blury and crooked, in her words. So when Haley reached out to me to do re-do photos, I had to deliver. They were the very first couple to get behind my lens in over 7 years. I was nervous I would screw it up. She reached out to me and the very next day we met up at Scenic Beach State Park in Seabeck, Washington. I showed up with a bottle of champagne and some flowers from Safeway. They showed up in their wedding attire they had worn just a couple months prior on their wedding day. So while this day wasn't an actual elopement, it was still just as important becuase it was all about producing images that the could love. I delivered their gallery the next day and this was Haley's response: "Aw!! I love these so much!!! All I wanted from our wedding photos were a couple to blow up and have in our living room- and now we finally have that! I can't thank you enough."
